My girls and I were displaced with hurricane Ian so, there was very little options, if any, on where to stay. SOME of the housekeepers here were very nice and the maintenance guys were awesome BUT, the room smelt bad and there were roaches and the receptionist's demeanor was as nasty as the rooms. One morning when I went to pay, like I did every morning, she told me she was over-booked. I asked her so, you booked my room without me even checking out yet? She said you should've made a reservation. Disgusting! Why would you do that to a family already in a hard situation? I would never hire someone like that to be in charge of a business...NEVER EVER!!

If you like sleeping with cockroaches crawling on you then this is a great place. It was so disgusting it made my son sick (literally all over the bed). And what's worse is we left after only being there an hour and they wouldn't refund us because my son threw up in the bed. We had no choice but to sleep in our van because we couldn't afford to get another hotel room. Had they kept a clean place they wouldn't have had cockroaches which would not have made my son sick. I will be pursuing stronger measures to get our money back. Anyone know of any good news channels that can shed light on this disgusting establishment?

the Host at the front desk was VERY nice and I enjoyed getting a free snack and dring upon check in. The pool was clean and warm, the room was super nice and clean, I love the pictures and how the room was layed out. The soap in the shower smelled so good. You can tell the owner put alot of thought into making it a nice stay. I had enough towels and wash clothes and when I checked out, I had them check my room before I left and after checking my room they immediatly refunded my deposit. I also enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning and the free coffee that was available 24 hours. the waiting lobby was nice to sit in and get my work assignments done while waiting on my uber to get to the airport.By the staff locking the gates at night, it made me feel safe and secure. I saved the room number because its right in front of the pool with a nice view and will defiantly come back soon

If I could give less than one star I would! I did not get the chance to stay there because my reservation was cancelled without my authorization or knowledge. I was coming in from SC, I had called at 7:24pm and spoke with the manager and advised him I would not be there until just after 3am. -- I drove 8 hours to get there, i waited in line and I heard the employee tell the people in front of me that "this room just cancelled its the last room" assuming I had a reservation I didn't say anything. When it was my turn I was told that my reservation had been cancelled, I showed the employee that I had called to verify my reservation and ensure my room was still open and he did not care. That employee was cancelling reservations to make some extra cash either for him or the hotel and on top of that was extremely nasty and rude. I have not called corporate just yet but I certainly will be. I have NEVER had a problem with any other Super 8's I frequently stay at Super 8s because they are fairly priced and are always very clean and again I have never had such a problem especially with late check ins the staff at other locations has always been very accommodating but I am now reconsidering. I will certainly NEVER give this place my money and i advise you be careful when you book. BUYER BEWARE.

This motel was a bit seedy. The check-in window is not clean nor is the area visible from the window very tidy. They have old notices such as "no leisure guests are welcome" that they need to clean up and update. If no attention is paid to the check in area, it doesn't inspire confidence that the same attitude is taken to the room.
Pool remains closed although they advertise what a wonderful pool they have on the marquee.
No one was there for check-out. Could not get receipt and not sure where to leave room key.
Room was cozy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We travel constantly, and have stayed everywhere. We're not demanding people, usually happy with a place that's clean and safe-not swanky. This hotel was one of the event hotels for the BMX race, or we would have perhaps stayed elsewhere. A/C leaked. The room had a low-key mildewy smell that faded only slightly as the weekend progressed. The bathtub was barely useable, as the inside paint was peeling off in sheets and pieces. We killed 3 small cockroaches the first night, spotted another the last day of our 3 day stay. The door was half-busted, so it didn't close too at the bottom. There was a sinkhole in the lobby, so that was closed, as was the pool (not a huge deal in the age of COVID, but a bummer). Overall, you can tell the staff cares (room was cleaned daily, the guy at check-in was very kind and helpful) but the owners absolutely do not. Overall, gross. I'll be scrubbing with a loofa x 10 when I get home.

if i could leave zero stars i would. TERRIBLE place. We got back to the room at 2am after a concert and the place was COVERED IN COCKROACHES. there was even a cockroach on the bed!!! we obviously high tailed it out of there, i called in the morning to see about a refund and they told me "it doesn't work that way" HA. unless you want to bring home a family of cockroaches in your suitcase DONT BOOK THIS. the room was also so badly cleaned and terrible upkeep in general.
