First time we've tried the place. They had a party going on in the other room and the food took a little longer than usual but we were compensated with free drinks and an apology without having to ask so that was stand up of them. Will definitely go back. Had a cheese pizza Brick Oven. Good flavor. Nice Krispy crust. Lots of cheese. Nice size pie

I ordered a sicilian pizza with Meatball, pepperoni, black olive, mushroom and garlic. I cannot complain about the taste, however The further away you I got from the edge, the more doughy the crust was. At $40 for a 16 inch pizza, I would have expected the toppings to me more generous. I will have to be very hungry and lazy to go back

My husband is a patient at Martin Memorial Hospital North and had a craving for pizza last night. I called 4 other pizza shops in the downtown Stuart area, who all declined to deliver one small pizza and an antipasto. Carmela’s stood up to the challenge! I applaud their delivery driver who was polite, fast and adorable! The antipasto was packed with so much meat, cheese, olives, banana peppers, green peppers, tomatoes and lettuce!! I could only eat one third but brought it home for dinner tonite. My husband’s pizza was simple light sauce, light on the cheese and good! My husband was happy, I was happy and we have vowed to dine indoors one day upon his hospital discharge. Thank you Carmela’s for great service and food!!

Small but comfortable Italian style restaurant. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, it has a basic atmosphere, and the food is very good. The pizza, the entrees, and the in-house made deserts are tasty.

Has a bar area, but I haven't had the opportunity to try that side of the restaurant. It's not noisy to the sit-down side.

After checking online order options here I decided to call. After about three busy lines I got thru and placed the order. I asked which clam sauce the order taker recommended and she said a lot of people get the white so I did. This is a small place but there seemed to be a lot of workers behind the counter working efficiently. It was kind of hot in there and I wouldn't want to have eaten my dinner there as the pickup line commotion was significant. After a reasonable wait got my order and went home only to find I got "marinara" crushed tomatoes with mussels not white clam sauce. Called and I think the manager owner answered and said to give 15 minutes to get what I wanted done and to bring back the mussels. I did and found the take out line way bigger. Found the manager and she took my dinner, verified that I wanted the white clam sauce and went to the back. Don't think the order started till I got there. After about 15 min got the order and she said they of course wouldn't charge for the difference. What she didn't understand nor could I prove since they did not give me a itemized receipt is that I paid for the more expensive meal in the first place. The clam sauce was basically a soup with linguine what was well cooked but I had to fish out the clams from the 1.5 cups of broth. The lasagna was huge and ok. If you like garlic this is the place to come, in my photo of the clam shells the lower left is not clams but lots of garlic. The food was pretty pricey too.

Wasn't expecting much from this unassuming little establishment, but the food was spectacular: crispy, perfectly done calamari, satisfying salad choices, tasty marinara sauces with just the right zing, and some of the best garlic knots I've ever had. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and our server Barbara was delightful. A great gustatory experience in a little gem of an eatery! And not to forget the bite-size cannoli either, which have real chocolate chips in them and are melt-in-your-mouth yummy.

This place was great! Service was on point!! We had 2 whole pizzas. Amazing!! Best in Martin County! Garlic knots as well! Everything was just soo amazing I would give it more stars if I could. If you're in town, it's a place to stop and eat. They also have a wine bar. Great large selection of wine!! They have specials going on every day during the week. Definitely will be back sometime soon!

A must stop in Stuart!! We love the traditional crust with the chicken Bella pizza. The mix of flavors is out of this world. And don't forget the garlic knots!! We always over order because leftovers are the best!!!
