This Christmas market has a charming medieval theme with nice decorations that make it stand out. However, the entrance fee is puzzling, especially since most Christmas markets in Berlin and Germany are free to enter. The food is decent, but nothing extraordinary. The crowd seems to consist mostly of young adults, ranging from their 20s to 40s.

It is a mystery why they charge entry fee just to have the privilege to go in and buy horribly overpriced products. First of all the staff at the entry was quite harsh. For the entry fee the venue does not provide anything, even the toilet is an extra cost to pay additionally. In other countries most Christmas markets are free or if there is a ticket, at least basic service is included or some kind of vouchers, rebates, mug etc is given in exchange. The mulled wine is not special but for the small cup they charge 5 eur. In my opinion there are much better Christmas Markets with higher quality food and drinks, entertainment and more reasonable prices.

Fun, different, nice atmosphere. A bit gimicky at times but the activities are fine to watch instead of paying to do them. Toilet is not so clean. Not enough toilet paper. Was quite crowded when I went around 1800-1900 in December 1, and that added to the atmosphere in a good way

The service attitude is very bad. I was like a machine dedicated to giving them money, and the woman who threw the axe game kept urging me to hurry up and not delay her to earn the next person's money.

Please guys, don’t go there. There’re many beatiful Christmas Markets in Berlin, and this is by far the worst one. We had a horrible experience at the entry yesterday. After waiting the line for 20 minutes, we waited my wife to catch up for 10 seconds in front of the entrance. Security started to yell directly to us(with one meter distance) we should either go in or out. When I asked him why he was yelling and told we were waiting our friend, he started to yell more in German. When we say we don’t understand German, he said leave or I’ll call the police! When we say, yes please call the police, he said he’ll punch us down and started to walk towards us even more agressively, and we didn’t want to make it a big deal and left. We were furious and disappointed at the beginning, but after looking at the other comments and see how rude everyone, we felt like not going in there was not that bad! We found an amazing Lebanese restaurant in 500 meter distance with delicous food and nice service to make this awful experince up!
